Piyush is an Investment Director at Phi Capital.
He brings over 16 years of hands-on investing and operating experience in India. He was an early team member of Lighthouse Funds for nearly a decade, where he led multiple investments and played a critical role in achieving excellent returns for the fund. He has held board positions as an investor representative on several portfolio companies.
In 2017, he turned entrepreneur and built an e-commerce venture (Petcloud Retail) which he led for multiple years before exiting it. In his most recent role, he was the CIO of Theia Ventures assisting with the fund setup, fundraising, and establishing investment methodology.
Piyush holds an MBA in Finance from IBS Mumbai and he completed his Bachelor of Science from Pune University. Additionally, he is also currently pursuing a data science degree from IIT Madras and Indian Senior Leadership course from Harvard Business School.
