P Simha is an operating partner with Phi Capital and brings hands on expertise in business planning, new product introduction (NPI), plant operations, sourcing, and cost reduction.
With over 39 years of experience in operations and manufacturing, he recently completed a significant tenure spanning a decade as the Head of Global Operations at Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, one of the world’s leading independent manufacturers of hydraulic cylinders.
Simha began his career with the TVS group, where he played various roles across multiple group companies, including Sundaram Clayton (Railway Products Division), Lakshmi Auto Components, and TVS Motors. His final role with the TVS group was as the Business Head for Indonesia, overseeing a greenfield project that marked TVS Motors’ first overseas manufacturing foray. He has varied and wide-ranging responsibilities including those of Production Engineering member, Head of various plants, and Head of Sourcing.
He was earlier part of Phi from April 2012 until February 2014, during which time he worked as an independent consultant.
