His expertise includes a thorough understanding of manufacturing, operations, and new product implementation. He has hands-on leadership experience in turning around facilities to deliver consistent profitability by driving a strong cost culture and leveraging the lean practices of the Caterpillar Production System (CPS) and Six Sigma concepts. He is also a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean expert.
Viswanathan has worked with Caterpillar for 28 years in several leadership roles and was with Sundaram Clayton prior to that. He is based in Bengaluru.
